Order Management Solution

The first project was centered around helping the company enhance its order management processes while working with Harley-Davidson. At that time, the client provided supply chain and warehouse services to assist HD with distributing supply parts to their dealerships and managing orders.
The goal was to put order data in one place and synchronize it from all channels. This would allow the company to eliminate the need for unnecessary manual work and connect previously scattered systems. To achieve that, we integrated Harley-Davidson and the client’s software that managed orders for supply parts and their logistics.

ERP Consulting and Implementation

While collaborating on the next project, Velvetech leveraged its expertise in enterprise software and helped the company choose and implement the most suitable solution to handle their challenge. It all started with consulting the client on the ERP system update. The case was to automate communication between the legacy ERP solution and the transportation management software that the client used.
As a result of the research and analysis part, it was decided to migrate from their previous ERP tool to Microsoft Dynamics 365. That could help achieve better performance, and digitalization in general, and support connectivity with the logistics management software. Being a certified Microsoft Partner and knowing the products inside out allowed our team to swiftly address this task and further help the company ensure maximum security for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system.
Quoting System Design

This piece of our partnership incorporated working on the new quoting solution that the client wanted to implement from scratch. It had to automatically generate quotes based on the costs and fees included in kit production for General Motors.
To meet this request, Velvetech first analyzed similar existing quoting solutions. It helped better define business and technical requirements that the company’s custom quoting system had to adhere to. After that, we designed the system’s architecture and provided the client with the quote calculation logic.
